![]() General Information and on Reserving the Date for your Wedding or other Special Event Wedding Celebrations at The Mast Farm Inn ~ The Mast Farm Inn provides a beautiful rustic setting for the more intimate wedding celebration. We extend to bridal parties the same warm hospitality that makes The Mast Farm Inn a favorite mountain getaway ~ We have space for up to 150 guests for the wedding ceremony itself. Couples have tied the knot in various scenic locations on our grounds. A popular spot is by the pond or in front of the Loom House. The Granary and Barn provide the indoor back-up location in case of inclement weather ~ In our restaurant we can host as many as 50 guests for an afternoon buffet reception. Our dining room can accommodate up to 28 people for a sit down rehearsal dinner or reception. We have a wonderful wine and champagne list from which to choose ~ One of our most popular wedding related events is the Bridesmaids Luncheon. We have a lovely dining terrace on the west side of the house which provides the perfect setting for up to 26 guests on a weather friendly day. Of course our dining room would be available if dining al fresco were not possible ~ Our onsite baker creates scrumptious desserts and wedding cakes designed to order ~ Many times wedding activities are planned in our immediate vicinity of Valle Crucis. The Inn’s seven guest rooms and seven cottages provide lodging for bridal families and others, and the Taylor House Inn, and Valle Crucis Bed and Breakfast provide additional Lodging ~ We extend to bridal parties the same warm hospitality that makes The Mast Farm Inn a favorite mountain getaway. To hold the date: In order for us to hold an event date for you, we require a $100 to $1000 non-refundable deposit, paid by check. The amount of the deposit depends on the size and scope of the event. The deposit will be applied to your site fee, lodging and restaurant costs, and other charges unless you cancel the event, in which case the deposit is forfeited. A change of date is viewed as a cancellation, with an additional deposit required to hold another date. Payment details: After event details are specified to the satisfaction of both parties, payment of the initial non-refundable deposit is required. A credit card as further financial guarantee is necessary in addition to the deposit to confirm the event booking. Depending on the scope of the event, additional non-refundable deposits prior to the event may be required. Details of the agreed schedule for payment of all charges, minimum numbers required for quoted rates for dining events, and the event cancellation policies will be specified. A special events contract, committing both parties, may be necessary for events of larger scope.
